Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
The Graduate Management Admission Test® (GMAT®) is a standardized assessment that helps business schools assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. Schools use the test as one predictor of academic performance in an MBA program or in other graduate management programs. GMAT is accepted by countries like the USA, Canada, Singapore, etc.
The GMAT exam measures basic verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills that you have developed over a long period of time in your education and work. It does NOT measure your knowledge of business, your job skills, specific content in your undergraduate or first university course work, your abilities in any other specific subject area, or subjective qualities—such as motivation, creativity, and interpersonal skills.
About GMAT
GMAT or the Graduate Management Admission Test is a standardized test conducted by GMAC for admission in graduate programs such as an MBA program. The examination aims to assess the knowledge and thinking capacity of the candidate in areas that are prerequisites and vital for management and business success.
You can take the exam up to five times in a year at a 16-day interval, but you must keep in mind that your total number of attempts should not exceed 8. More than 200,000 hopeful candidates take the test each year.
Some do quite well while some do not. The difference lies in proper strategy and preparation.

The GMAT™ Exam Has Four Sections:

Analytical Writing Assessment—measures your ability to think critically and to communicate your ideas

Integrated Reasoning—measures your ability to analyze data and evaluate information presented in multiple formats

Quantitative Reasoning—measures your ability to analyze data and draw conclusions using reasoning skills

Verbal Reasoning—measures your ability to read and understand written material, to evaluate arguments, and to correct written material to conform to standard written English
Structure of the GMAT™ Exam
The GMAT Exam has four separately timed sections. You will have the opportunity to take two optional eight-minute breaks during the exam
HOW IS THE GMAT SCORED?
You will receive five scores for the GMAT: an overall scaled score, ranging from 200 to 800; a math sub score, ranging from 0 to 60; a verbal subscore, ranging from 0 to 60; a score for the Analytical Writing Assessment, ranging from 0 to 6, and a score for the IR section ranging from 1-8.
A student must undergo at least 20 tests on pen paper and 15 tests on the computer on the premises of CAREER-CRAFTER
